The reel came in a single box really too flimsy for transit from China to UK but it was not damaged. In fact I am quite impressed with the reel which as a good drag on it and can be loaded with braid or polymer. The action is smooth and the winding does not loosen the handle as some of my much more expensive reels do. It is ambidextrous (winding from either side and has anti reverse. I am used to Western sizing and this 4000 reel is same size as my 1000 big name reel. But it is well constructed.
